Local and Stateside Missions:
Chaplain Danny Croce - New Hope Correctional Ministry - Danny saw the light in 1985 while serving a 2 year sentence at the Plymouth County Jail. Exposure to chapel services and the Bible soon had a deep impact in his life. "I'm in big trouble!" Danny exclaimed to the prison chaplain one day. The chaplain agreed, and lead Danny to saving faith in Christ. "Jesus soon began to change my life," Danny recounts. "He took away the desire to smoke cigarettes (I had smoked for almost 20 years). Then went the marijuana, free-basing cocaine, drinking, gambling and swearing." In their place God gave Danny a burning desire to serve Him full time. After his release, Croce attended Wheaton College, earning a B.A. in Bible/Theology. Then in 1996 Danny became Chaplain of the newly constructed Plymouth County Correctional Facility. A pastor to incarcerated criminals, Danny tends a captive & needy flock where broken lives are forever changed. Bethesda House- Bethesda House’s purpose shall be to provide safe, nurturing temporary housing for homeless young mothers, either pregnant or parenting their first baby. While living at “our home” young mothers will be linked with educational programming so mom and baby leave with the necessary skills & knowledge to be self-sufficient. The basis of Bethesda House’s will be built on God's love and how life can be transformed through a relationship with Jesus. For more information about Bethesda House, click here:
Missions Abroad
Roberta Peabody with TEAM - A true cross-cultural, disciple-making ministry, Roberta reaches out in friendship sharing the gospel with the people of Japan. Her heart especially beats for "returnees," those Japanese who, after traveling to America and receiving the Lord Jesus as Savior, return to their home land. Sadly, the overwhelming majority of returnees fall away from the faith they once embraced. Instead of shining their lights in dark Japan where a dismal 0.43 percent are protestant Christians, returnees' lights get snuffed out. That's why Faunce supports Roberta's missions effort in a foreign land where every 15 minutes suicide takes a soul to eternity. Peter & Lucy in NARNIA - We glad-heartedly support Peter & Lucy in their ministry to the restricted access country of Narnia (borrowing names & places from C.S. Lewis). This seasoned couple is embarking on an exciting new venture in East Central Asia, piloting small aircraft in mountainous regions for both kingdom and humanitarian purposes. We would say more, but for their safety prefer to keep it brief!
